How do your kids not run a mile? It's often talked about in our home education circles that the quickest way to kill a child's desire to learn is to jump on a topic and provide a load of resources for them and we have found this to be absolutely true no matter how enthusiastic they were originally. I could probably get away with strewing a book or two and showing them a video but any more than that and it'd totally ruin it and drive them away from the topic. This is no criticism to you, what you've provided is wonderful! It just amazes me how kids can be so different.

We're a military family recently stationed in Florida as well. I'm a California native and my husband was lucky enough to be stationed there for 9 years before we moved here. We've decided to stay in Florida permanently and love being adopted Floridians. The homeschool scholarships available for my children are such a blessing. I'm so happy to hear your family was happy to extend their stay! 🖤

FYI, that anatomy book was written by someone who supports, how can I say this, in sessst and pdf files. Always, ALWAYS, do your homework on authors.

I’m wanting to do a more “non curriculum” style learning so I wanted to ask you…if you don’t use curriculum, how do you decide what to dive into? What do do next? When you use resin for your crafts do you halve to have a curing machine and heat pad?

I've been binging on your videos about planning and unit studies The Hearth Magic resource looks amazing 🤩 I'm curious about the Main Lesson Books...do you focus on one aspect of the Unit Study for them ? For example, for a one month unit study focused on literature, is the MLB is only focused on Language Arts while also doing math practice but not including it in the MLB? Or would math and L.A be included in a MLB together? Tk you!

Does your family have a specific school block where you do several subjects? Im finding it difficult to do more than one "thing" at a time without a break between them, for example switching from language arts into a math lesson...do you have advice? 🙏😁
